Overview
Virtual production is the process of making films in the digital world in real time, enabling a new level of creative freedom and efficiency for filmmakers, commercial directors and game developers alike. At our in-house studio Digital Domain combines virtual cinematography, award-winning facial animation and capture, Simulcam, and one of the largest motion capture sound stages in the world – all under the direction of virtual production pioneer Gary Roberts. These capabilities raise the standard of pre-visualization, enhance the quality of videogame cinematics and enable directors to see more of what their created world will look like while they're in production. Our experience spans feature films like TRON: Legacy and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, to game content for Gears of War 3, Halo 3 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter, to "Virtual" Tupac, and a range of features, commercials and digital productions.
