Honda Fit “Mecha-Mosquitoes”

This was the first spot of three in a campaign from Rubin Postaer & Associates that was created, directed, produced and animated by Digital Domain. A 50's-era matinee feel sets the tone for the nimble Honda Fit to show a swarm of gas-guzzling mechanical mosquitoes the error of their ways. Art director David Rosenbaum and his team created a beyond-photo-real look using dramatic colors, roads with unbelievable twists and turns, over sized tankers and other cues to define the CG world, and filled it with animated characters full of personality.
