Digital Domain joined forces again with TRON: Legacy director Joe Kosinski and editor Jim Haygood for a :30 spot for BMW via Grey West that brings back the brand's beloved tagline, 'The Ultimate Driving Machine.' Digital Domain built an entire KC-135 jet digitally, after conducting an intricate survey of the actual plane and worked closely with Kosinski to create a precise interaction between the jet and the BMW 5, speeding down a desert highway. CG atmospheric effects like exhaust, heat coming off engines, dust and sky replacement, add to the believability.
