Director Aladino Debert worked directly with Microsoft Studios create a cinematic launch piece for Ryse: Son of Rome that gets gamers in the gladiator mood. He builds palatable drama by glorifying protagonist Marius in slow motion as the hero prepares to face off against a coliseum that is itself a foe in the battle. Aladino deployed Digital Domain's visual effects and virtual production expertise for the all-CG piece.
