Echo

To help reintroduce Maya Lopez to the MCU in Echo, Marvel called on the award-winning artists at Digital Domain to visualize the opening scene in which the audience learns about the origin story of Chafa and the Choctaw people. For this particular sequence, the VFX studio's work focused primarily on the cave, the water, Chafa and also the bisnik bird. To successfully bring the story and extraordinary opening scene to the screen, Digital Domain worked closely with production and the Choctaw Nation to ensure the visuals and storytelling held true to the Choctaw culture.
