For the final season of ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Digital Domain crafted visual effects for five of the last 13 episodes. The work included creating digi-doubles, recreating 1930s New York, and even the destruction of a futuristic base filled with a formidable enemy. Most importantly, Digital Domain had the honor of creating the final shot of the last episode, wrapping up the successful series.

For the last scene, fans were treated to a significant shot that spoke to the show’s past and its future. As the camera panned out to give us one last look at the Marvel-infused world created over the course of four years, everything from the lighting to the minute details was the responsibility and honor of Digital Domain’s talented VFX team.
