“A Series of Unfortunate Events,” developed for television by Mark Hadis, Barry Sonnenfeld and Netflix, follows the misadventures of the Baudelaire children who are endlessly pursued by the hilariously evil Count Olaf. Digital Domain’s artists, led by visual effects supervisor Aladino Debert, created a wide variety of effects for five episodes of Season 2, totaling over 350 shots. These include digital set extensions, character animation, full CG environments and digital effects such as smoke, fire, dust, etc.
