Project Digi Doug
In early 2018, the Digital Human Group set out to build the most comprehensive digital database of a real person. That real person has been Doug Roble, the Head of Software R&D who graciously volunteered to take on the challenge, although in hindsight, probably wishes he hadn’t. Over the last few years, we have captured a wide variety of different materials, from countless hours of voice recordings and facial captures to body motion, skin motion, subdermal blood flow, pore structure changes, skin reflectance capture – the list goes on. All of this data has served to further our research into building the highest quality capture systems and most realistic digital humans.
