11.02.15Digital Domain started work on ‘Maleficent’ late in 2012, shortly after principle photography had been completed from July to October that year. The film was shot mainly at Pinewood studios, with some location work. Digital Domain’s visual effects supervisor Kelly Port was based in London for the project, and was able to spend time on set with Carey Villegas, the production's senior visual effects supervisor.
