Jelmer Boskma is an Emmy and VES Award–nominated Visual Effects Supervisor and Art Director at Digital Domain. With over two decades of industry experience, Jelmer is recognized for his visionary approach, technical mastery, and commitment to cinematic storytelling and visual worldbuilding.

Jelmer's career spans some of the world's most prestigious visual effects studios. Before joining Digital Domain, he was a Visual Effects Supervisor at DNEG, where he led the creative and technical execution of major projects from pre-production through final delivery, including on-set supervision. His extensive credits include blockbuster and acclaimed productions such as Murderbot, Star Wars: Andor, Marvel's Eternals, Ant- Man & the Wasp, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Before DNEG, Jelmer served as VFX Supervisor and Art Director at Scanline VFX, contributing to a wide range of high- profile studio releases.

Jelmer began his career in 2006 as a digital sculptor and creature designer, later expanding into matte painting, concept art, and art direction. This multidisciplinary background enables him to unify creative vision with technical excellence and collaborate seamlessly across departments to deliver visually compelling, technically flawless work.

Jelmer is a proud 14-year member of the Visual Effects Society and has earned both Primetime Emmy and VES Award nominations for his innovative contributions to the field.
