Alex Millet is an accomplished Visual Effects Supervisor with over 17 years of experience in the feature film industry. He recently served as the VFX Supervisor for “The Conjuring: Last Rites,” and completed his role as Associate VFX Supervisor on the Russo Brothers’ Netflix production, “The Electric State.” Alex’s dedication to exceptional visual storytelling was recognized in 2022 when he received a nomination for Outstanding Visual Effects at the HPA Awards for his work on “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
Throughout his extensive tenure at Digital Domain, spanning over 13+ years, Alex has developed a robust skill set through various key roles, including DFX Supervisor, Look Development Department Supervisor, Sequence Supervisor, and CG Supervisor. His proficiency in tackling complex full CG creatures is complemented by his comprehensive understanding of the entire visual effects pipeline, making him an invaluable asset to any production team.
Alex’s meticulous attention to detail and pursuit of photorealism have been instrumental in projects like Russo Brothers' "The Electric State," where his work brought lifelike quality to the characters. He has also contributed to the development of characters in films such as “Pixels,” "Morbius,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” “Ender’s Game,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger.” His recent induction into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences underscores his significant contributions to the industry.
