Sony Pictures and Digital Domain collaborated on the visual effects for Madame Web. Digital Domain's impressive visual effects were evident throughout the film, but their greatest achievement was showcased in the third act, which featured Cassandra Webb along with Julia Cornwall , Mattie Franklin , and Anya Corazon on a mission to stop the villainous Ezekiel Sims after a series of ominous premonitions tied their fates together.
Our team poured their creative talents into recreating the rich environments that transport viewers to the heart of New York City despite the film being shot on set in Boston. In addition to our environment work, Digital Domain artists lent their expertise to explosive FX work, elevating the studio's action-packed aVFX sequences.
The Digital Domain team completed almost 500 shots across locations in Los Angeles, Canada, and Hyderabad and contributed 15 sequences for the film.
