For the DC villain Black Adam, Digital Domain collaborated closely with partners at New Line Cinema to help shape his power, strength, and speed. In addition to contributing to the look of his powers, our extremely creative VFX Supervisor Nikos Kalaitzidis and his talented team of artists were also responsible for the creation and destruction of several environments, a destructive battle between Black Adam and Hawkman, hero digi-doubles, face replacements using Digital Domain’s Charlatan machine learning tech, body replacements, set extensions to all CG cityscape environments, and different-scaled FX-simulated explosions.

In total, Digital Domain contributed about 500 shots throughout all the key moments of Black Adam.
