Audi "Intelligently Combined"

Overview

For Carl Erik Rinsch and Markenfilm’s highly complex yet ethereal spot for Audi, Digital Domain designed and orchestrated the complicated movements of a Rubik’s-like cube, which build an Audi piece by piece in a realistic way as the puzzle is solved. Digital Domain designed a delivery system to move parts and subsections from cube to cube, basing everything on gravity and inertia to join parts by dropping and sliding them together. Artists did extensive look development to create the environment and lighting scenarios that give the cube the feel of a kinetic installation art piece.
